Top 100 Beverage Trends in May
From gin to tequila and cans to boxes, the May 2022 beverage trends reveal a surge in innovation when it comes to the makeup and packaging of ready-to-drink cocktails.
Spring means warmer weather, and for many consumers, that also means outdoor gatherings like picnics, beach days, and BBQs. With outdoor party season just around the corner, a bunch of new ready-to-drink cocktails have made their debut, using a variety of different types of alcohol. For instance, Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers has unveiled three new canned cocktails, each of which is made with Canadian gin. On the other hand, Onda has launched new Mango and Pineapple spiked seltzers made with Blanco tequila.
Of course, not all these ready-to-drink, easy-to-pack cocktails will get you buzzed. The May 2022 beverage trends also show a spike in interest for alcohol-free cocktails. This is a trend that brands like Muddle and Mint have been quick to capitalize on.
